They are obviously high quality but for some reason haven't grabbed me. On the other hand, the single "The Last Time" I completely fell in love with. After hearing many of these new songs live as an opener for Puscifer, I've been anticipating this record. I must say the record does not disappoint. I think this record will be loved by established fans and new fans alike.Carina's voice is fantastic throughout the record. There is a good bit of variety on Tigermending. "The Last Time" is still the standout song on the record for me but its also the song I've had the most exposure to. It's been the only time I've been sad to see an opening act end. "Pick Up the Phone," "The Last Time," "Girl and the Ghost," "Mother's Pride," and "Simplicity Hurts" are hauntingly good. You are doing your soul a disservice if you do not get this album. |
