I had been looking for some music for my 4 year old son to listen to that wouldn't drive the whole family nuts. In short, I found it!I took him to see her live at the Long Island Children's Museum a few months ago, apparently around the same time she released this CD. He is sort of shy around others, so he didn't jump around with the other kids, but at the end of the show, when I asked him if he wanted me to get him the CD, he said "yes." We listened to it on the way home in the car, and I personally enjoyed the way she connects with the kids through lyrics, yet writes real music that even adults can enjoy. From that day on, he has asked to go to sleep listening to it and we listen to it in the car as well. OK, maybe even a little too much. This CD was an instant hit not only with my two year old but with ME! I am so excited to have found music that I can enjoy with my son AND more importantly that I don't mind getting stuck in my head!
